Location: Most classes will take place at BRIT or at the FW Botanic Garden. Some classes and workshops will be taught off campus and/or may include field trips to other locations around North Central Texas.

Cost: Class tuition varies depending on the length of the class and materials needed. Please see the individual class listings for exact prices.

Who should attend: GROW Adult Ed classes are designed for adults 18 and older. Interested children 14 and older are invited to attend classes with a parent or guardian if both individuals purchase a seat. Please don't hesitate to contact Erin Starr White if you have any questions about this policy.

Helpful Tip: Since you never know where GROW Adult Ed might take you, we recommend that participants dress comfortably in clothes that are appropriate for both indoor and outdoor adventures. A sweater is recommended for air conditioned environments, and closed toe shoes are always a good idea. Please check individual class listings for any specific requirements and, as always, don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at a GROW Adult Education class soon!

Join the Master Gardener Bulb team as they share their extensive experience growing all types of bulbs.  You will learn the different types of bulbs including tunicate, imbricate, corms, tubers and rhizomes. You will also engage in hands-on activities on how to plant bulbs in pots and in the ground, how to force bulbs to bloom and how to propagate bulbs from seeds and from chipping to expand your collection.  You will leave with bulbs in pots and cut bulbs to plant in the fall.

The Master Gardener Bulb Propagation team of Claire Alford, Jeanie Browning, Rocky Duetscher and Mary Reagor specialize in growing and propagating bulbs in their own landscapes, they continually search for bulbs that grow in this region and they teach bulb care to garden clubs in the area.  Together they have over 36 years in Master Gardening experience.
