Pre-K-12th grade students will think and inquire like real-world scientists as they explore our outdoor classrooms.

On-site field trips are priced by the number of participants. A minimum of one chaperone per ten students is required for safety reasons. Registration for these required chaperones is offered free of charge. 

Final participant numbers and payment are due two weeks before the event date. To allow time for coordination, please submit your request no less than three weeks in advance.

Self-Guided Exploration

Self-Guided Explorations provide the freedom to explore at your own pace. FWBG|BRIT Educators will not be present during this experience. 

Available: Year-Round,  Monday – Friday 9 am – 3 pm 

$6 /participant (students & registered adults)

Minimum of 15 participants to qualify. 

Any unregistered adult joining on the day of a Self-Guided Exploration will pay the regular garden admission of $12.

Ultimate STEM Challenge

Looking for an outdoor adventure to engage K-5 explorers this summer?

FWBG| BRIT Ultimate Summer STEM Challenges will give your group the chance to explore the Fort Worth Botanic Garden while providing interactive STEM challenges related to special exhibits and garden spaces. Educators may schedule a two-hour time slot and receive a bag of STEM activities to lead with your group as they connect STEM and nature. FWBG|BRIT staff will welcome your group to introduce activities and schedule your reflection to discuss your STEM Challenge Experience. Activity engagement time is 1 hour, with 1 hour to freely explore the Garden. 

Available Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

$7 /Student, $5 /Adult or minimum fee $140 for groups of fewer than 20 participants

Virtual Field Trips – Middle & High School Students

All Virtual Field Trips are priced for a single class with a maximum of 35 students. Payment must be completed before any materials can be shared.

This is a unique experience including an in-depth virtual guided tour of BRIT’s LEED Platinum campus with over 20 videos and 360° views.

Students will explore inside and outside of our BRIT campus to make connections between the impact of a LEED Platinum building and the environment, then apply their knowledge to design their own sustainable buildings of the future.
