Last admission is sold one hour before closing. The last photography pass will be sold two hours before closing to allow for the full two hours. Please heed safety tips by staying hydrated and pacing yourself while outdoors.

  • Please bring your Lonestar/SNAP/WIC/Medicaid card and a photo ID to the admissions desk on-site to receive complimentary admission. General Admission only. Does not apply to special events/exhibits.

  • Can I pay with my SNAP EBT card?
    • No, your SNAP EBT card is only for identification purposes, showing that you meet the criteria. Any admission costs must be paid for with alternate methods (cash or credit card). 
  • Do I need to register for anything?
    • No. Garden guests do not need to register for anything. You can just go to a participating museum, show your SNAP EBT card and a photo ID, and you will receive the Museums for All admission rate. You can come back as many times as you wish—there’s no limit.

FWBG is located within Trinity Metro’s expanded Southside ZIPZONE! Rides are a flat $3, with $1.50 for each additional rider in the party, or FREE with the purchase of any multi-ride Trinity Metro Ticket. Guests who show proof of riding Trinity Metro public transportation to get to the Garden are eligible for a $2 admission discount.

Blue Star Program for Active Military families

  • Please present your active military ID card onsite for access to the Garden. Recieve complimentary admission for the active military personnel and up to 5 family members. 
  • Blue Star Program runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. 
  • The passes may be checked out from a Fort Worth public library to provide one week of free admission for two adults with children who are 17 or younger and all reside in the same household.
  • Passes are not valid at special events/exhibits or for educational programs at the Garden.
  • Library users may also check out a digital pass on their mobile device if they use Overdrive’s Libby app with their library card number.
  • Additionally, passes must be checked out and returned to the same library, and should not be placed in the book drop.
  • Pass users must present the due-date slip as well as the pass at the Botanic Garden.

Group discounts are available for 20 or more tickets purchased in the same transaction. $2 off each ticket type. Applies to General Admission only. Available online & in-person.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden offers quarterly free admission days. The Garden is a place where all are welcome and free admission days offer the opportunity for anyone to make emotional souvenirs here and have a relaxing experience.
