Gain Hands-on Experience!

We offer internships to qualified applicants at both the Botanical Research Institute of Texas and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. With this opportunity, interns gain hands-on experience with professionals in the fields of botany, horticulture, education, marketing, and conservation!

This position will work alongside staff to experience the workings of the education arm of a conservation non-profit organization and acquire skills and knowledge related to educational program design and implementation. Interns typically take ownership of a specific project in conjunction with a staff member’s work. This includes projects related to education communications, field trips, family and early childhood programming, and public engagement. Students will also benefit from resources and activities at FWBG|BRIT, including interaction with researchers and volunteers, and opportunities to participate in a wide range of seminars and social events.
